Summer Science and Art Camp at FCS
FCS offers adventures in Science and Art sessions this summer from June 23rd through August 8th, 2008. Camp hours are 9:00am - 4:00pm. Before and after hours are 8:00am - 9:00am and 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Camp programs are designed for grades K-8.
The Science Camp utilizes hands-on experiments in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Ecology, Geology, and Geography. Our science educators and guest scientists provide age-appropriate, safe activities, to develop critical thinking skills while having fun with science.
The Art Camp encourages campers to see art-making as a process of close observation, expressive experimentation, and careful craftsmanship. Young artists explore a variety of media and techniques, and discover connections between visual art and other subjects.
CIT: Counselor-in-Training program available for youth ages 15 and up.
Availability Update: Please note that session 1 of camp is full, and that session 2 is closed to kids 9 and under.
