Development for Friends Community School
Friends Community School (FCS) has created an outstanding learning community over the last 18 years. Our students are thriving, and our alumni have been well prepared for life beyond FCS with strong academic skills and solid Quaker values. There is a great demand in our community for the kind of education FCS provides, and we have room to grow including our expanded program for grades 7 and 8.
We have built a beautiful, environmentally advanced "green" building that will serve FCS, the children of Prince George's County and the metropolitan region for generations to come. The 17-acre site is convenient for current families and offers ample space for future growth. Our vision for the school is ambitious, but realistic.
Thanks to all who contributed to the "Grounding Our Future Campaign". This is a reality, and it is the result of the generous contributions from everyone in the school community.
